+++***Chapter 14-Argamennon Unleashed***+++

WARNING-EXTREME GORE AT THE END OF THE CHAPTER!!!!!!! NOT FOR THE WEAK HEARTED
Marl Two waved Verdict over to him, listenning intently to the headset by his ear. He gave it to Verdict, who listenned emtoionlessly to the tapped radio-tapper. They were spying on what the Rekic were listenning to inside of Rekic territory. A genius, and also insane, move.
  "Charlie Company, respond. Over."
"HQ, Charlie Company is gone! There's something at Grettuf. It's generating itself out of this sick mist. It's huge! Fox Company, fall back! Fall back right--"
  "Fox Company, respond. Anyone."
Verdict lowerred the headset and turned back to Nemonia, who patiently sat behind him. "Fox Company and Charlie Company came in behind us."
"Both of the biggect companies came in behind us?" Nemonia replied, worried. "Together? When are they erachign our position, then?"

Verdict hesitated for a second. "They're gone. Something's back at Grettuf; something I think is trying to follow our Reclaimer friend. It'f forming out of the air. We have to head back  and try to neutralize it."

Nemonia stared directly into his eyes, looking for any trace of insanity. "Two whole companies are wiped out, and you want two ten-soldier teams to go back and kill whatever's done that?"

Verdict nodded. "We just have to steal a bomb from our friends." He looked past Nemonia to the cement building. Right then, two of Marl and three of Frequency came out the door, carrying warheads and missile shells out with them to disarm.
Nemonia turned back and saw what he saw, the idea coming to play in her mind. "Okay, so how do we transport them if we had to destroy their vehicles?"

"A couple of my Marl's are repairing the most fit one right now."
Nemonia cracked a smile towards Verdict. "You're on a roll, today!"

  Forerunner Planet Terricon Juva
  Military Base Frek 45 Alpha

"Can't you shut that SOB up?!" Kye yelled, holding his ears from the immense screaming of Argamennon. He had special headphones on, but the screams still made it through.
Argamennon pulled his "arms" into him, but failed. The energy beams on theclean-white walls held every tentacle and vine seperate from the other, creating a mess of arms on the sides of the wall. The room was a kilometer square perimeter, and a perfext box shape. Argamennon could'nt see anything inside the pitch white room, except the large robot hefting a bomb toward him. He yelled more and more defiantly, short-circuiting the robot's audio-receptors and forcing it to take orders from the computers watching. Argamennong stopped for a second, and twisted his tongue and pressed it around his mouth. "You.....Forerunners...." He looked straight at the only window in the room, which was unnoticeable inside the box.

"What did he just say..?!" The scientist next to Kye gasped under his breath, looking into the invisible one-way window towards Argamennon. "He's smarter than we thought...But that means...Crap, get the bomb out of there!"
"What?!" Kye said, staring back at Argamennon. "Why?"
  "He's going to grab it!"

Crap. Kye pulled the machine gun off his back and fired at the window. It shattered from the only direction its construction allowed; the inside. Kye ran over and jumped through the window and into the white box room. He landed on the floor three meters below and sprinted for the bomb. He fidgetted from a sudden sting of pain across his body. He was still pretty damaged from the last fight, but he kept going anyway. To be a super dolier required sarifice, and Kye could only sacrifice comfort.
Argamennon laughed demonically, then focussed all his energy on his arms one tentacle at a time. Each one broke free in a matter of seconds, and soon he was wrapping them around the robot. He sqeeezed, and the robot blew into a million parts. The bomb was his to grab. He used one of his combined arms to grab it, and the other to send the Forerunner soldier slamming into the white wall. "You...have failed....again!" Argamennon roared, then turned to thee broken window. "And you...Your stubbornness to admit I was intelligent....It shall be the death of all dwelling on this planet!" Argamennon took a step back, then ran head-on into the wall, smashing through and out into the base of two thousand soldiers that were'nt ready for the Master Gravemind.
Argamennon laughed loud enough to break the windows next to him. Some soldiers turned to fire at him futily, while others panicced and tried to run. Argamennon raised the bomb over his head. "You can have this back!" He slammed it into the ground at his feet, detonating it outside of the bomb box, the only metal that could hold it in.
------
  Grettuf, 2554
Marl and Frequency slowed to a crawl, careful of the crowd of Rekic and Telkion soldiers alike running from the city. It looked like the appocolypse was in front of them; smoke billowed from inside the city, buildings had fallen and created huge dust clouds in their wake, and fires raged. All of it made the late night sky red.
"Come on! Move!" Marl Ten honked the humvee's horn, creating a small lane for them to travel through. It was quickly filled again as allthe soldiers seemed to be in a temporary truce as the menace inside Grettuf threatenned them all alone.
Verdict looked up and saw a small dot jump out of the city. He cursed out loud when he saw arms and legs extending off of it. It was a soldier. The dead body rocketted down to the ground next to the humvees and splatterred, coverring everyone around with blood and gore.
--
"Oh, god. Oh, god please no..." The sodlier whisperred as he crawled forward, dragging his smashed legs behind him. Tears were streaming down his face as he pulled himself for an alley, where he hoped the monster would'nt see him.
Argamennon picked up the insect with two of his right three fingers, pinching the soldier's clothes. He screamed in terror as he left the ground and was soon level with Argamennon's eyes. He turned the soldier to face him.
"Puny insect," He growled, "Your time to weep ended one hundred thousand years ago. Now accept the punishment." He flicked him up into the air softly, and Argamennon openned his mouth upward. Two rows of large, razor-sharp teeth became visible to the screaming soldier. Argamennon waited for him to get between his teeth, then smashed every cell in the soldier's body with a demonic set of simultanous cracking noises. Blood sprayed out of his mouth and down his throat.
Argemmenon swallowed the rest of the soldier, satisfied by the small meal. He rasied his head and roared, "Who's next, Forerunner scum!"
There's only one thing I can say about the ending to this chapter:

-blam!-, this got really dark, really fast. Guess what all the heroes of this story have to fight?

Yeah, all the Spartans have to fight this....
